Requirements for the use of explosion-proof motors in coal mines

1. Explosion proof motors must be products that have been inspected and qualified by nationally recognized inspection units, and have obtained explosion-proof certificates and production licenses, as well as underground certificates issued by the Coal Safety Office of the National Coal Mine Supervision Bureau.
2. Explosion proof motors should be selected with matching parameters such as motor power, voltage, speed, starting torque, and overload capacity based on the working characteristics and environment of the transmission machinery.
4. Due to the presence of gangue in the coal seam being cut, the coal mining machine may experience overload during motor operation. Therefore, a high starting torque explosion-proof motor should be selected.
3. Based on the principles of safe operation, convenient maintenance, advanced technology, and economic rationality of explosion-proof motors used in coal mines, a comprehensive analysis is conducted and a scientific selection is made.
